When we were kids, my mother frequently made this Hennessy Peach Cobbler recipe for us. The best part is that assembly only takes a short while! You can substitute fresh peaches for my mother's customary quart jar of home-canned peaches.

Simple Tips for Peeling Peaches

I've discovered that adding a few of these lovely fruits to a pot of boiling water at a time makes it the simplest to peel peaches. Remove them and place them in ice water after about 30 seconds.
